College celebrates Innovative Automation partnership with room dedication

On January 10, Georgian College in Barrie recognized the contributions of Innovative Automation, by dedicating a room in their name for the CAD/GIS lab. The Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre at Georgian has received support from the government, and a substantial contribution from Innovative Automation.

Georgian offers a stimulating environment for students who are preparing for co-op positions and future employment, and many employees of Innovative Automation are former Georgian College Mechanical Engineering Students, including owner Steve Loftus.

To celebrate the room dedication, Mechanical Engineering student Sachin Macwan and Georgian College CEO and President MaryLynn West-Moynes were joined by owners Steve Loftus, Michael Lalonde, and Matthew Setterington.
